Department Of  Vanuatu Immigration and Passport Services recorded a revenue collection of 1 billion this month, which surpassed its normal target every year.

For the past years immigration only reach 500 million to 600 million but this year with the Automated visa system and the passport system Immigration manage to reach over 1 billion. These includes fees, charges, fines and license purchase through the Department of Vanuatu Immigration and Passport Services.

The Trade Dispute Tribunal held its inaugural conference on 14th November 2024, and the dispute is between the Vanuatu Workers Union and Promedic in Vanuatu.

The second conference was held on 15th November 2024, with the case pitting the Vanuatu Workers Union against PeterPan Grammar International School.

These are the first pair of instances that the Commissioner of Labor proposes to the Tribunal Office for decision-making.

Strengthening Partnerships for Enhanced ID Services in Vanuatu

Today, on 8th November 2024, the Vanuatu Electoral Office, led by Principal Electoral Officer Guillan Malessas, officially handed over ID card printers and printing consumables to Registrar General Jeffery Trief to further support the Civil Registration and Identity Management (CRIM) office.
