MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MOIA) is responsible for implementation of the major and most essential policies relating to the internal administration of the entire nation. 

The Ministry is quite essential in its own context of service delivery as it attempts to provide vital services to the entire population commencing from Torba Province in the far North to Tafea Province in the far South.

There are seven Departments under the authority of the Ministry that ensures that the following policies are implemented in terms of decentralization, border control management and national services.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs exists to provide decentralized services to the people of Vanuatu, especially in the provinces and for the well-being, protection of livelihoods and safety of our nation.
