MOIA AGENCIES

The Ministry of Internal Affairs Exist to Provide Decentralised Services to the People of Vanuatu, especially in the provinces and for the Well-being, Protection of Livelihoods and Safety of Our Nation.

DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL REGISTRY AND IDENTITY MANAGEMENT
CRIM aims to ensure the accuracy of the civil registry which stores the civil records for all citizens in Vanuatu.
VANUATU ELECTORAL OFFICE
VEO aims to prepare and conduct direct elections in the country, including establishing and maintaining an updated and accurate Voter Register.
DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT MOBILITY
DOL aims to promote decent works domestically and regionally to ensure social justice through fair working conditions under ILO standards reflected in domestic laws.
DEPARTMENT OF VANUATU IMMIGRATION AND PASSPORT SERVICES
VIS aims to control and regulate the movement of persons to, from and within our country in contributing to national security and development.
DEPARTMENT OF URBAN AFFAIRS AND PLANNING
DUAP aims to ensure Municipalities and urban centers provide decentralized services to the people for their well-being, livelihoods and also the safety of the people residing and investing within its jurisdiction.
DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL AUTHORITIES
DLA aims to advance decentralization, strengthen local authority capacity and regional planning where it brings the Government to the people.
PUBLIC LAND TRANSPORT AUTHORITY
PLTA controls the operation and management of Public Land Transport in Vanuatu.
VANUATU POLICE FORCE
VPF aims to provide a safer and more secure environment for all citizens and visitors of Vanuatu through the provision of excellent policing services.
TRADE DISPUTE TRIBUNAL
Trade Dispute Tribunal consider the facts tendered by the employers and employees and make a decision following the relevant laws.
