The main goal of this agreement is for the AGENCY-Child Desk to inform CRIM of vital events with amendments, and CRIM is responsible for vital event registration. In contrast, CRIM's secondary goal is to provide Child Desk with all citizens' and residents' National ID numbers and prescribed personal data.

Director General of MOIA, Mr Veremaito, emphasize that the major focus of CRIM this year is to strengthen and protect the usage of data. Thus, the data provided by CRIM must be used securely.

Mr. Faerua, Director General of MJCS, appreciate this agreement, that will strengthen the Child Desk agency's efforts to safeguard the nation's future generation. Additionally, it will improve these two Ministries' working connections.

The Children of Vanuatu who were experiencing various form of abuse in the community will benefit through the effective cooperation of MOIA and MJCS.
